mmmm....Sliders

Burgers...like heaven on a bun. But even better than burgers are the mini-me versions at Bouchees Bistro in Long Beach. Specializing in gourmet sliders, Bouchees offers both pre-designed and customizable treats, as well as panini (and minini), regular sized burgers, salads and entrees. On a recent visit, we sampled just about every slider on their menu...from ahi tuna with avocado, pulled bbq pork, organic veggie with bbq sauce, turkey with shiitake mushroom and American beef with cheddar. Can you say "Yum"? Everything was fantastic - from the bun to the patty and everything in between - and was only enhanced by the sweet potato parmesan fries. Chicken chowder soup, served with a roll, and the chicken tarragon minini were equally a success! Top off your meal with a pomegranate lemonade and you're good to go!

Starting at only $3 for a slider, Bouchees gives burger aficionados the opportunity to indulge in different flavors in one sitting. Bouchees also offers dessert, but the ice cream sandwiches (almond gelato between two crunchy peanut butter cookies) and lemon coconut cupcakes were not as phenomenal as our sliders.

Definitely a must try!
