It's SoCal Fair Season!

We Southern Californians certainly are a lucky bunch - not only do we have great weather year-round, but we also are uber fortunate to live in a region that celebrates the Fair twice a year. That's right...I'm talking about the OC Super Fair and LA County Fair, and for all you foodies, we know how excited you are. Trust us...we're right there with you.

Let's start with the OC Super Fair: July 10-August 9. Open Wednesday through Sunday. General Admission is $10. Which deep fried goodness will we devour? Probably churros. With a side of Australian potatoes, a turkey leg, frozen cheesecake, lemonade and maybe a cupcake.

As always, there are a ton of promos - check out We Care Wednesdays, where admission and one carnival ride is comped when you donate canned food, toys, books and other items to local charities.

And just when you thought you couldn't eat anymore, the LA County Fair opens on September 5. A different culinary experience than the OC Fair, the LA County Fair put a smile on our faces as we dished on pork chop on a stick (yum), Mexican funnel cake (deelish) and one of our fave beers Stella Artois. If you've never tried them, you need to make your way to Pomona.

The pork chops had so much flavor that we had to go back for seconds and thirds. And the Mexican funnel cake...oh my. There are genius minds at work at this booth - they've taken everything we love about funnel cake, supersized it into churros and sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar. MUST TRY!!!

Bring your appetites!!!
