Charming Los Feliz Cafe

Los Angeles is filled with tons of delightful cafes...including Alcove Cafe & Bakery in Los Feliz. The historic bungalow and outdoor patio provide a charming setting for a delicious meal.

The breakfast quesadilla is a great way to start the day. Filled with grilled chicken breast, scrambled eggs, fresh spinach, aged vermont cheddar and monterey jack, the quesadilla is topped with avocado, fresh salsa and sour cream, and served with fresh fruit on the side.

The asian scallop salad was fantastic. Crispy battered scallops, enoki mushrooms, mixed baby greens, fresh mint, fresh cilantro, fresh chives and light miso dressing worked well together, while crispy shredded potatoes added a light crunch.

If quesadillas and salads aren't your thing, you can also choose from omelets, paninis, crepes, burgers, wraps, sandwiches and soups. Everything is great, so you can't go wrong!

The line was long throughout our meal, which works in your favor because you'll need time to decide what to order. It's definitely worth the wait!

BTW, if you can't make it out to Los Feliz, try Alcove's sister cafe, Aroma Coffee and Tea (http://www.aromacoffeeandtea.com/) in Studio City.
